There has been a lot happening at Yutree recently. Here’s a quick round up for you:
Lloyd’s of London coverholder approval
Since launching our underwriting business 3 years ago we have worked to build a solid foundation upon which to grow. We have worked with our insurer partners to build profitable accounts and trust in our ethos which represents transparency, longevity and security.
We were delighted, yesterday, to receive our coverholder approval from Lloyd’s of London and we are honoured to join their global network of underwriters.

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) appoints Yutree as it’s preferred provider of liability insurance
We are also excited to announce that BIBA has appointed Yutree Underwriting to provide a new liability insurance scheme for its members. BIBA members will benefit from enhanced commission on this facility along with exclusivity, flexible underwriting and A rated security. The official launch is 1st September so more to follow next week. We are delighted with this endorsement from our trade association and look forward to working with more BIBA members.

New insurer for Contractors All Risks and Plant
And finally, the underwriter on our existing Montpelier facility has recently moved to Brit Syndicate at Lloyd’s. We have agreed that the existing book will be taken over by Brit with immediate effect. Renewals will be invited on the facility with full details of the new consortium. Claims will continue to be paid by Montpelier during the 12 month run-off.
This product is for contractors all risks business of any size including plant which can also be written stand-alone if required.
